Ute Apfelstedt has been composing the songs of the album SHINE IN YOUR OWN LIGHT by PASSION FLOWER (Sonic Rendezvous, 2000) , BORN FOR LOVE by Passion Flower (2015) and COVER ME by Ute Passionflower (2016).
In 2020 she released a New Age album in collaboration with the talented film composer and pianist Pablo Arellano.
She has written the music for the songs of the Dutch musical “DE NIEUWE IJSTIJD” which has been produced by the Musical company “Opus One” for the 100 jaar Maarten Toonder event 2012. The premiere has been attended by her Majesty Queen Beatrix at the Oude Luxor theatre in Rotterdam in January 2012.
Ute has co-written the music for several tv and radio commercials, game teasers, film scores and multi media productions. In co-operation with Future Sound Amsterdam she has been involved as a composer, session artist, violinist, flautist and singer in the production of music for C&A, the Floriade, Unicef, Terre des Hommes, Cordaid and many others.
Ute Apfelstedt has been composing the music for the corporate inspirational event show “Beweegreden” (more balls than most), in which she regularly performs live with her electric light emitting 5 string violin.
Ute is currently composing and recording new songs and compositions for the relaxation and meditation app Insight Timer.
She has recently published a soothing bedtime story with deeply relaxing music including violin, ancient flute and voice.
